Background
According to the proposal of establishing the Treasury Committee, the Treasury Execution Committee will undertake the functions of reviewing and approving a portion of the Treasury expenditures in order to improve the efficiency of decentralized governance.
Under the current governance process of the BendDAO protocol, it takes at least 21 days for a proposal to go from submission to final approval.
This can result in a lack of timely support from the community for proposals with time-sensitive requirements, such as:
- Expenditures for marketing activities
- Expenditures for protocol operations
In order to improve the responsiveness to Treasury expenditure proposals, the Treasury Execution Committee is requesting a portion of the budget funds from the Treasury to quickly respond to the protocol’s market operations expenses and improve the governance efficiency of the protocol.
